Participants deliberated over the main criteria for including the activities in the Council’s Work Plan as well as the opportunities to reach out to local government bodies and civil society across the country through thematic sessions of the Council outside of the capital. A closer cooperation with the EU and other donors in RNM was also mentioned with the objective to establish a regular flow of information as well as identify areas of cooperation and potential support for the implementation of the Government Strategy for cooperation with and development of civil society. The workshop was organised with the support of the EU funded project “Technical Assistance for improving the enabling environment for Civil Society Organisations in the Republic of North Macedonia” in the scope of the activities aiming the improvement of the Institutional Framework for Cooperation with Civil Society in RNM.
