As a key aspect of inclusive policy making, the scope and method of consultation with stakeholders is an area where further advancement is needed. There is a shared understanding across the state institutions and CSOs that moving beyond the minimum consultation requirements is now necessary to ensure that stakeholders’ concerns and proposals are heard timely with due feedback provided. The COVID 19 circumstances have severely affected the direct communication between the state institutions and CSOs reducing those to mostly online communication. When it comes to the legal framework for civil society development, to secure a fully transparent and inclusive process during the revision of key legal acts, the TA Project experts have developed a consultation plan which proposes multiple consultation methods with the aim of contributing to the announced legal revision processes for 2022. The plan presents a combination of methods and tools to broaden the scope and secure the adequate approach in accordance to the targeted groups of stakeholders.
The proposed consultation plan can be found at here.
