In cooperation with the General Secretariat of the Government, Unit for cooperation with CSOs, the TA Project organised two back-to-back workshops on the topic “Building positions and achieving consensus in the work of cross sector advisory bodies”. The aim of the workshops was to discuss with the members of the Council for cooperation between Government and Civil Society the challenges and opportunities of building positions and consensus having in mind the specifics of representing State institutions or CSOs in the Council. In two separate sessions, one with the representatives of the State institutions and one with the representatives of CSOs in the Council for cooperation between Government and Civil society best practice and key steps in the process of consensus building and achieving consensus were presented and discussed. The TA Project will support further advancement of the work of the Council for cooperation between Government and Civil Society through exchange of experiences at the regional level and the development of capacity building programs for the Council members.
